I need opinions 😀. Just got this off eBay! Did alllll my research and everything looks to be original except for the unsigned crown. The glass was even signed! Anyhow... it’s bugging me, I noticed the chapter ring is unaligned with the crosshairs , can this be moved manually? Also. I noticed the endices(gold dots are not centered on the dial (right side has a bigger gap next to the chapter ring). I looked up other examples and it seems like every example on the internet is similar!! Is this a thing??? Thanks in advance!!
Chapter ring and dial are two different components. While I don't remember how they are fixed within the case, I believe that at least one of the two parts of your watch are not properly installed or loose.
Concerning the indices and their gap to the chapter ring, it may be that this just seems like this on the pic due to the shadow...
I may have a signed UG crown for you, but I must have a look tomorrow.

Just trying to make sure it’s not a redial... just a misalignment somewhere

I am not an expert in Polerouters like others here (fonts, alignment etc.), but to me the printing seems well executed.
Could you post a pic where the hands do not hide the printing?

The dial is fine, imo. Nice watch

The good news is that the dial is fine and the alignment issues are easily corrected by a watchmaker.

The bad news is that is an earlier Polarouter case. You spotted the different markings - the other giveaways are the early serial number (1'683'xxx) and the six key case back (Polerouters have polygonal case backs).

So you have a marriage of a 20214-2 Polarouter case and later S20214-2 Polerouter dial.

Price seems very reasonable to me. Super clean dial and crisp case.

That dial could have been replaced years and years ago and for a perfectly genuine reason.

A definite keeper at that price I say.

Thanks for the piece of mind @Mazoue. This watch style is a definite keeper that I was planning never to get rid of. A lot of people buy to sell or invest. I just really want this watch to wear and enjoy 😀. Although if I paid too much it would've been a slight let down. I'll definitely keep and wear it proudly 😀 UG rules!!!

Just a quick update 😀. I polished the crystal and added the 19mm FOIS band that I never used on my Speedmaster and it was a perfect fit! UN and Omega... two awesome companies combined 😀. The detail on these vintage Polerouters is really breathtaking!!

Well, Kay, way to make a little splash, dipping your toe and getting three watches to begin with--well done!

Now you are in it for life.

PS A little 263 military almost mint got me into this brand. I got it at a resale shop for $80.00.
Yeah I had to. the UG bug has completely overcome me it’s the only brand beside Rolex I’ve really been collecting for the past year and a half. I love there military models from the 30s/40s.

Doesn't look like it to me, but I'll let someone else chime in too...
