Absolutely lovely but definitely not a Polerouter.

Not a Polerouter case reference or an automatic movement that you would find in a Polerouter.

I honestly don't know... I have doubts because it looks too new given the age of the watch.
The dial shows its age, but the other parts of the watch show very minor wear and tear though, so maybe it just hasn't been used much 😕

There was a tri compax on ebay reaching almost 7k usd before it hos now disappeared. Did anyone see it? The case looked incredibly crisp but the dial looked repainted. Wish i posted this when the listing was still there. But if any of you know the one i am talking about.
Was it repainted?

If it’s the same oneI saw, yes I was tempted to bid but like you I thought the dial was repainted - the Universal Geneve lettering looked off. Of course I’ll kick myself if it was original..

For me it dissappeard out of ebay. Had it in my watch list but now its not in my ended list. It sold for over 7! The thing that bugs me about this is there are no numbers in the minute crono. In all referances i can find i cant find this variation. And the numbering in the other cronos seem off to. Put together with the universal logo beeing suspicious and no tri-compax text

Doh! Would you believe it, I hadn’t even noticed there were no numbers in the minute chrono!! Oh well, possibly saved from a mistake then 😀
