Any thoughts on this one ...

 

Not sure that any of the hands are original to the watch.

They don't look very UG in style and look to have been freshly lumed but on a watch with a dial without lume.

 

No, hands are likely to have been removed from a 2020 chinese vintage! , I am more interested in the dial. 41-42 and in a style never seen before ...

 

The hands don't even match each other. If this is a calibre 262 then the largest case I think I've seen is 37mm - do you have a picture of the caseback and particularly the way the numbers are applied/present? The flatness of the A is quite seductive but I'm sceptical.

 

Not on eBay but rather a major auction house. Someone got a bit too enthusiastic with polishing.

Yes, but only on the bottom ones .

 

Boy... how to ruin a case...this is painful to watch.

 

I don't think that is polishing. You would need an angle grinder to get them to that. They look like different lugs !

 

Could also be a question of light on the picture no ?

Sothebys wouldnt photoshop their listing. Right? Maybe its all a ruse to draw attention.
