Some interesting things I've found recently that I'd love opinions on given I'm trying to develop an eye for these things.

^ Upcoming auction (non ebay) https://www.chrono24.com/universalgenve/polarouter-with-gloss-black-crosshair-dial--id11540640.htm

^ Tropical, beautiful, but $5000?!?! Really?!?! Come on, right?

^ What do we think about this one? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-...=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

^ No idea what this is but it's nice. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Me...rentrq:deb92abb16b0a9ca2a567e0bff7baa67|iid:1

This one caught my eye, but doesn't seem right when I check the reference gallery on the site:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-Geneve-Polerouter-Date-Tuxedo-BOX-PAPERS-SERVICE-1960-Gerald-Genta/264432095122?_trkparms=aid=555018&algo=PL.SIM&ao=1&asc=20190212102350&meid=1c5b18d097114aa8b18eab05b88c2fea&pid=100012&rk=1&rkt=12&sd=223616721615&itm=264432095122&pg=2047675&_trksid=p2047675.c100012.m1985

Polerouter Date (actually located in my neck of the woods), no crosshair dial, microtor movement (and printing on dial)

I suppose it could be a 204503-2, which uses the microtor movement, but the one in the gallery has a crosshair...

What do you guys think?

Pretty cool looking Compax. Too bad the dial is a bit dirty for my taste.

Would like to see the final price and serial number on that PolArouter, the terms, Every sale will be subject to a buyer’s premium of 20% + VAT (24% inc. VAT) on the hammer price, are particularly onerous...

I don't buy the dial as original, with lumed hands and lumed dots there should be a great deal of radium burn to that dial...

I have a couple of these in comparable condition without any radium burn.
The serial nr and reference nr both checked out - final price was GBP6000 inc. premium.

A little weathered but nice. Certainly worth considering. However, price is a little on the high side for me ...

Found this Pola on eBay, but not sure... Everything seems to be ok, but when you look closer the A looks whiter and the reference on the back... Is that a 6?

Completely correct and original in my opinion but unfortunately the dial is in pretty poor condition.

I think the A in Polarouter appears whiter because the other text around it has faded/disintegrated to a greater extent.

The 1'648'xxx serial is exactly as expected.
