Given the rather shoddy and inconsistent logo shields on these loose dials, I'm assuming they're redone? https://www.ebay.com/itm/153059103890?ul_noapp=truePurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network https://www.ebay.com/itm/153059102538?ul_noapp=truePurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network https://www.ebay.com/itm/183270023869?ul_noapp=truePurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Or factory seconds?
I had a quick look and thought that they were probably ok. The logo shown on the right hand dial in your first picture does look terrible but it looks a lot better in the second photo within that particular listing so I wondered whether it was just a bad photograph. All of the dials show signs of wear in a ring outside of the lume dots, which suggested to me that they might have been used and that these marks had been left by the ring. Most of the steel dials I've seen are pretty tarnished however and these do look mint so perhaps they genuinely are NOS and the marks are just storage marks.
Here's an example of a similar dial with the same steel finish that I'm having serviced. The contrast between the dial centre and the part underneath the ring is very clear, which suggests to me that the eBay examples are genuine NOS.

Is it ok to discuss something here that is for sale on the internet, but not eBay? I first noticed this gold UG Medico-Compax more than a year ago, and it hasn't gone anywhere, so I think it goes without saying that the price is too high, and there are some obvious condition issues on the dial. However, I'm curious if anyone sees any major issues with correctness or originality. I've posted a few photos, but there are more at the link. https://lorologiese.com/watches/bra...46-18kt-pink-gold-375-mm-chronograph-cal-285/
I've seen that one above before and thought the case (well really the bezel) was quite unusual, but I assume this is a stock UG case? On another note, there is also a spillman medico up as well right now.....
That one is really very pricey, i kind of prefer the gold one with the thunder bird bezel also something very weird going on in the subdial for the spill man one, this seller I have seen peddling around replaced dial as original quite a number of times.
This should be of some help too https://omegaforums.net/threads/dial-replacement-opinions.20606/page-2
remember UG dials and cases can be mix & match - its easy to swap a dial +/- movement into any appropriately sized UG case. For the record, I have never seen another example of a Medico-Compax in Spillman case (ref 22409). But it ain't hard to pop a Medico-Compax dial into one and create a "rarity" - so rare it was never seen in the UG factory.
Sorry, but I'm a little confused about which watch @LouS and @Florent are referring to because the "Spillman" example got thrown into the mix.
They speak of the Spillman cased Dial. I too was tempted by one of these long ago and was dissuaded by OF and eventually the seller lost confidence in the piece and took off the market.
I am curious though. @Dan S you say a rose gold 37mm UNI Compax medico is over priced at 4400 euro. What value would you put on it? It does have condition issues as you point out but still a pretty attractive watch.
