Non radial seconds sub.
i want to say redial but UG management. And designers must have lost their minds just before the end so some of this s...t is real.

That is an early case with a low serial number, from well before the firm's breakdown.

So late 60s Dial / Hands in an earlier case?

I have never seen this ref, can anyone weigh in? the subdials and their numerals remind me of the Seamaster chronos.

Update: more examples and a similar Breitling version here...

serial number suggests it's 1967 (if the reference tables are correct)

it's from 1941 and clearly bad redial ::facepalm1::
We are talking about the plated watch with mid 60’s logo. Don’t know why but it’s hideous and interesting at the same time.

An interesting article on the closely related Breitling Top Time which seems to confirm that the case design is from 1967. Subdial printing looks as poor on some of these as it does on the gold plated Compax. My feeling is it's probably genuine (and both interesting and ugly!)

I like it, but what puts me off is the plated case and the really dark lume.

I’ve been lusting after a Polerouter for a while now, but didn’t realize there were quality issues with them. Is the issue you’re having with yours related to finding parts or are the movements just flat-out bad/unreliable?

The one mentioned in the listing is not super-attractive, IMO...

Quality is a relative term...Old and weird is more the term. I have a good watchmaker who can rebuild a tri compax in his sleep ...he's cursing this thing. Right now he sourced a new rotor assy. and its in test. Fingers crossed.
