Looks original but thrashed. Don't think it's really usable IMO. Movement might be worth something, depending on condition.

Thanks for info. Here is the 481 movement:

As far as I can see having had a quick look, both watches are correct and in good condition so it just comes down to whether you like them and whether the price is right.

I like the Super although I personally think there are better looking variants of the Super. The full BIN price seems on the high side but the seller is open to offers.

I personally think that the Polerouter Date is just plain ugly. The stark white dial and roman numerals just don't do it for me. Again, the asking price looks high.

That movement needs an awful lot of parts and work ...

Yes that's what I noticed when comparing this one to clean/complete examples I have found on the internet.

ah that is the most important part! thanks for checking them out! would you say they belong more in the $1400s range?

ive been checking back and forth for awhile, hoping to go for a no date gold version, but those probably don't come cheap Im gonna bet.

I'm sure I've seen steel Supers with the original signed bracelet in the $1500 range.

I'm afraid I don't know much about pricing for gold Supers but it is a fairly chunky case and therefore I imagine very heavy and expensive if in gold.

Hi guys,
Although it is not ebay, I did not want to open a new thread for this one.
What do you think about this one? It is located in a local shop.
Thank you in advance.

I've never seen a dial with multiple fonts for the same numbers (as far as the 3s and 6s and the "1000" are concerned)...
Not sure, but it is curious

I'd steer clear of that one. Not sure what has happened to the dial and the printing looks wrong too.
All sorts of wrong. Redial (crosshair visible through the shield and generally too thick), the hour markers appear to have been applied by a toddler, and text printing is off. Significant corrosion to the caseback ring, too. Ouch.

At least two of us here watched an incomplete 287 movement, corroded minute hand, bent chrono hand and completely useless Compax dial sell on EBay for $450. Amazing. Just amazing.
