Hi All.
I am constantly seeing on eBay UG uni-compax models, that in the description sellers says
Uni Netherlands or Uni-Netherlands.
Most of the items I believe are redials or Franken watches.
Did anyone noticed the same?
Is this some kind of code or something?
I have also seen that description in some compax models.
Thanks

Guys, What do you think? I know hands are re-lumed, but is it a fake/refinished dial?

Yes.

Crowns were unsigned in early 40's , fonts are wrong, sub printing is sloppy and the outer scale is just awful.

I bought this one on eBay this afternoon. Not 100% sure why as it's plated and I'll probably end up spending more than it's worth tidying it up - I think it was the pre Polerouter looks and the Türler signed dial.

Anyway, the odd thing is that it seems to have a case reference beginning with a 6. I didn't think UG case references began with a 6?

The case back seems to look genuine enough otherwise.

I can only see a lovely, crisp case and clean dial. I can all too easily ignore the wrong sub dial and chrono hands, the pusher lash-up and replacement crown.
But I am an idiot Big-Eye obsessive, therefore ignore me.
I also now realise I have posted mainly because I love the sound of my own voice.
