    Thanks.
Watch has been received by a friend on USA.
We will find a way to get it in Europe
When that happens I will post some pictures

    Yeap!
That is my main concern, but as per pics the dial seems acceptable.

Anybody who wants to own an oversized tri? Here is THE opportunity:
"original dial and hands in unrestored state" !!! (originales Zifferblatt und Zeiger im unrestaurierten Zustand.)

Even if it is a completely pristine, untouched dial who would pay that sort of insane price? Couple it with the correct movement what would the entire cost be? Would the idiot buyer ever recover the total cost?

I don’t know if you’re trying to be sarcastic but this thread is for recommendations of good watches, and that dial is horrible.

Imagine you have everything and you just need that dial to complete the watch project.

    I think I would buy ;)

sorry to correct you, but that's wrong. This thread is about "Universal Watches on Ebay", not recommended watches. The Omega subforum has these distinctions.

You have to use a European site to look at it. Seller does not ship to the US. I know that is very hard for international buyers...

    Thanks! Indeed a dreamwatch...

No visible evidence that it is a UG movement. Internet search finds references to Alpina..

The hilarity is the case. Do you think many Kriegsmarine 'Victory' watches were cased in England? :whistling:
