Hands have been relumed too bright what gives them an odd look and the crown is wrong, otherwise it looks ok. It's one of the earliest cal. 215 has can be seen by the inscription "Patent Rights Pending" under the rotor, this make it a little bit rarer and interesting, imo.

Despite being gold plated and not for everybody taste, it's a nice watch, imo
Thank you. I'll take a look and see what's the bids like thus far.

Hi All
Can you please give me your opinion on this Compax.
Seems correct to me but I am not sure tf the hour and minute hands are from this dial.

I don't believe that the hour and minute hands belong to this watch, they have the wrong length. I even doubt that they are UG originals

The seconds subdial hand is wrong too...

Guilty!
Probably needs a lot of work but I will take the risk.
Dial seems very good

It is not a military watch. FS stands for "Ferrovie Stato" which means state railways. They are nice and relatively cheap going between Euro 150 and 300 depending on condition.

Yes, any UG aficianado knows that.
Hence my "Oops!" comment.
Bleedin' obvious to us but not to that dealer.
