It's a three-handed UG with no connection to airplanes or scuba diving. *yawn* Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
A Polerouter with original GF bracelet always deserve a closer look: http://www.ebay.com/itm/122205975358?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:ITPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

The dial had caught my attention but when you read the description it says that the dial was colored by an "artisan". It does give a nice effect but not the original colour of the dial.

I'd never seen one of these before - very funky (couldn't think of a better word) - shame about the damage to the dial on this one. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1970s-Vin...-Unisonic-Zone-Timer-Wristwatch-/351896343364Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network A quick google search revealed that there was a similar model with a gold bezel and gold dial.
UG used the Accutron tuning fork on license from Bulova and called it Unisonic. Here is a very similar dual-time Accutron watch c. 1974 The upper crown jumps the hour hand forward or back, the lower crown changes the date and when pulled out hacks the watch and sets the hands. I wonder if the UG operates in the same way?
Quite interested in this. Do you guys think its a good buy? Appreciate any adivce! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-G...042512?hash=item3d2a430d90:g:2BIAAOSw5cNYGfTZPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Would these be the correct hands for this model? I have seen a few like these but I have always wondered if the hands were original. http://www.ebay.fr/itm/Vintage-Mili...090781?hash=item25c83adcdd:g:sCkAAOSwcUBYISTAPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
I can't comment about the hands specific to the case reference; I don't believe sufficient data is available for these type of 3 handers. The juxtaposition of a sword-shaped hour hand with a non-sword minute hands seems to be quite common and I'd say that it's fine.
Yes I have found another with this same hand combination. The case is very similar, serial numbers are close but the dial and movement are not. http://www.ebay.ch/itm/UNIVERSAL-GE...755386?hash=item51aa6f0c7a:g:9uoAAOSwY45UR1sFPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network EDIT : Just realized this one is a redial. Too bad because the case is great. But what about the UWECO movement?
Hi everybody! I am kind of new in the field, and I appreciate experts' advice. I love polerouters, and I have an idea of their market price. Monodatic somewhat interests me as well, but I really don't know how to give them a value. They ask 650 euros for this, which seems expensive, given that I've seen a fantastic guilloche version in this site for less than double. http://www.ebay.it/itm/282247580351?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:ITPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network What do you think is a fair value?
