Universal Geneve Steel Claw Lugs: Original Dial or Redial?

I’m on the fence with this dial. This was the condition of the watch when purchased.
Is the dial the ORIGINAL finish ? I thought of finding another that I’m certain is original, but I am not certain this one is a redial ?

I'm inclined to think non-original. The "A" in Universal looks suspect and I don't like the general flatness of the sub-dial. What calibre is it - I'm guessing 262? The 262 is probably the most numerous UG vintage calibre so I don't think you'll have any problems picking up a donor - you just need to measure it and be persistent. And don't tie yourself up in knots about matching a replacement dial to another 21262-cased example you find randomly on the internet. Look for one with lume though, as one of their design maxims was generally to match lumed hands with lumed dials.

To me the dial looks like it could be original with deterioration but I would ask for better photos of it.

It looks original but ideally lumed hands should have lume on the dial.

Do you know the diameter of the existing dial?
