Just received my mk2 today! I can’t push myself to collect the mk3, so I’m considering this collection completed.

And paired with the mk1. Comparing the dials, you may be able to see the mk1 dial has patinated and taken a slight beige-ish tone whereas the mk2 is stark white. The mk2 dial is pristine.

It’s a shame about the tooling marks on the mk2 but… oh well.

and on the wrist. The sun has gone down so I can’t get a direct light shot

But in this image, you can see just how patinated the mk1 dial has become. I absolutely love it

You guys are a bunch of enablers! I just found a V2 on chrono24 for a good deal, recently serviced for under $500! Will post pics once it comes in.

Congrats. I did see that recently and thought it was a bargain given it was serviced.

Thanks for the positive reinforcement 😉. I was a little hesitant because it was so cheap, but from everything I could see, it appears genuine. Maybe a little rough around the edges, but that's ok with me!

Any UK based owners who can recommend / connect me with someone who can service this lovely watch ?

Cheers

Bold choice of strap. I guess these can handle most straps. Part of the charm.
I shared this picture a couple posts above, but I like wearing my mk2 on colorful straps. It can handle them well.

I moved mine from the super chunky brown stitched strap it came with to a dark blue oiled strap.
I think the white dial likes a dark strap?

I had the same inkling! I'm ordering a blue cork strap for mine 👍

It arrived! It's certainly no show queen, but I got a great deal so I'm still pleased. Now I just need to order a new strap (or two) and a milanese bracelet 😉.

Will be rocking the milanese until my blue cork strap comes in. Perfect for summer! Now I just need an espresso machine and my Italian role play will be complete!

I just got mine in the mail yesterday direct from Italy! Mk1, beautiful condition, though interestingly enough someone engraved their name on it above and below the serial number. Di Giorgio, Paolo. Gorgeous watch though, stoked to have nabbed it for $400 (including shipping and US taxes). I'll post pics later; work computers are no fun!
