Hi OF,

Finally got a bit of a free time to get back into watches, thought I’d share some photos of these nice catalogs below from my collection. Please post the catalogs, brochures, or any kind of advertising materials that you have here.

I wish I had access to these stuff when I first started collecting UG! Hopefully this will helps some people!

Best

Andre

Just love this stuff 😀 Thanks for sharing.

Just curious, but how did the Film Compax work? What does the 16mm and 32mm scale measure? Celluloid Frames?

Film Compax $95, how much is that in today's money, $1000? I wish modern quality watches were that cheap!

Most intruiging perhaps (and quite logical but still I was at first surprised) is the fact that a pocket chrono costs as much a wristwatch chrono

Perhaps even more interesting is that what looks like that same pocket chrono reference (can’t be certain of whether gold or steel, etc) sold this past week at Christie’s Online. The result - even with auction fees, etc. - was a bit underwhelming, in my view, for such a gorgeous piece….

Very shallow pool of collectors but yes: a steal. Also annoying that they did not mention serial and reference not show a picture of them.

Not mine, but was sold on eBay a while ago. I'm guessing its from around 1970 due to the mixture of round and fat "U" logos. Also note that the older "pointy U" logo is still in use on the buckles.
