Universal Genève Ref. 5656 Cal. 283 - Türler Gilt Dial

I wanted to share a recent vintage Universal Genève find with the community and hopefully get some deeper insights from the UG experts here. The case back shows the Universal Genève stamping, perlage, 0.750 gold hallmark, Swiss hallmarks and the Poinçon de Maître key no. 5, which I understand is associated with Georges Croisier, Genève.

I would be very grateful for any expert thoughts on this configuration, especially regarding:

• the reference 5656
• the caliber 283 configuration

• the Croisier case / key no. 5 hallmark
• rarity and collector relevance within early Universal Genève chronographs
