Universal Geneve Compax ref. 22408 - sold at Aste Bolaffi

I am trying to find the watch sold as Lot 30 at Aste Bolaffi in April 2020. I missed the auction and would be interested in having this particular watch. Is the buyer anyone here at OF?

It´s a UG Compax ref. 22408, serial 740302, cal. 285. Sold at 2600€ + 25% premium.

I just have a weakness for this reference and it does not come up for sale often.
This exact piece has a serial just 3 digits from one of those that I already have, but it has a different -yet similarly “minimal” dial design... They would make a nice pair in my collection. 😀
But if another piece comes up for sale, I would be interested too. 😉

I hope the successful bidder was a dealer. Call the auction house, if the buyer in question was in fact a dealer, they may put the two of you together.
