I am putting my wonderful Universal Geneve Uni-compax Ref 22420-1 up for sale. I originally purchased the watch from a respected, long-standing member of OF, in the fall of 2019.
The dial is lovely and clean with all the numerals and indices remaining clear and crisp. All hands appear to be original, the brass hour and minutes hands having patinaed nicely at the tips. The subdial and chrono seconds hands are blued. The heart of the Uni-Compax is the UG 285 manual wind chronograph movement.
Functions: Hours, Minutes, chronograph seconds, running seconds subdial, 45-minute chronograph minutes subdial
Dial: Great condition with applied (brass?) indices and numerals
Case: Good condition, sharp edges, appears unpolished. Stainless steel.
Crystal: Domed acrylic
Dimensions: Diameter 35mm, Height 12.5mm, Lug-to-Lug 42mm
Lug width: 17mm
Strap: Hirsch leather strap and clasp
Calibre: Universal Geneve 285 manual wind chronograph
Fully serviced by the German Watchmaker in Vancouver in 2017.
