·For sale is a truly unique tropical dial Omega Seamaster Calendar 2849-2 SC. The case is 34 mm in decent condition with sharp edges still observable. The movement is Cal 503, run strong and have been serviced by my watchmaker (no parts replaced) on July 2013. The watch has been in my safe since and only worn few times.
The truly unique feature is its tropical dial. I believe originally it was black gilt dial with gold script. It since changed into even brownish oxidation color with gold speckles in true tropical fashion (see photos). All the script is still intact. The appearance is attractive and unique.
The hour and minutes hands are also get oxidized. I decided to leave as it is when I serviced it, since they matched aesthetically IMO.

Crystal(s): Original plexi with Omega symbol.
Movement: Cal 503.

Movement: Runs strong and all functions work as should service in July 2013.

Case: Good condition still sharp
Strap: Generic with generic buckle.
