Hi there! For sale today I have a classic and nicely patinated Omega Seamaster Calendar ref. 2849-4 SC from 1956 with an unpolished case with the characteristic ”beefy” lugs. Case: The case is in a excellent condition with only a few minor scratches. The lugs and sides are extremely sharp, and the ”waterproof” engraving on the caseback is still 100% visible. The facets and chamfers are also fully instact, so I am positive that the case has never been polished. It measures around 34,5mm Movement: An automatic cal. 503 movement in a very good condition. The serial number 15 mil. dates it 1956. Service history is unknown, but it keeps excellent time. Dial: An original, unrestored and very pleasingly patinated golden dial with date and lume plots all intact on the hour markers. Crown: Original and signed clover Omega crown Crystal: Unsigned crystal in a very good condition. Hands: Golden ”dauphine” hands with some patina, but otherwise in a good condition.
