Uncle Seiko vs Forstner bracelets for 1861/1863 (and OEM flat link option?)

Hi All - I’m looking for a couple of different bracelet options for my 1863 (flat link and 1450 president style). Seems like a lot of folks have used both Uncle Seiko and Forstner. Is their a difference between the two brands from people’s experience (look, feel, quality, reliability, etc.)?

Also wondering if there is an Omega OEM flat link bracelet that fits with the 1863?

Thanks for the input all!

Currently have my 1861 on an Apollo 11 bracelet with US solid end-links and I love it! qygnLZ4

Have them both, and like Forstner the most due to its solid female shaped end link. On the other hand, US have Omega clasp cover options.

My personal thoughts with both 1450 and FFL after owning them for couple of months:
1450
+ look
+ well done
+ ok fit
- clasp / but as Nicola mentioned you have OEM Omega clasp choices which will add on the price
- the end links angle is a bit sharp and creats a gasp between end link and bracelet on certain angle - not that you will notice but is there

FFL
+ all
- nothing
fits better my wrist

Both very good bracelets, you should buy them both

I like the stretch links of the forstner. That, plus the lighter weight, makes for a very comfy bracelet at a very good price compared to OEM. There are some lengthy side-by-side reviews of the US vs Forstner around here someone if someone's got the energy to dig up the link.

Thanks a lot for the detailed overview and pics! Both do look fantastic and I will probably end up getting both 😀.

which end links models do you need to us for this? I thought I read a thread that you need smaller pins, bend them or something? Is that correct? was it easy to put on?

One other thing you should check out is Forstner’s Instagram page. They are developing a newer more modern version of their flatlink with a milled clasp. Exciting stuff!

Except for the laser inscribed instead of their nice stamped logo.
