For the record,
@Darlinboy ...since the U.S. Navy saw to it that I would
NOT be issued a watch [and like it!]...as well as the fact that I’m still ‘milwatchless’ which is not my fault due to the fact that I got ‘railroaded’ down a ‘railroad watch rabbit hole’...
I’m really gunning for the 1987 Hamilton GG-W-113...which would also be era appropriate since I entered military active duty in 1986...hint, hint, hint.
😁
LATE ENTRY
@Darlinboy: I changed my mind...please consider the file photo below ‘Photo submission #2’ if it helps my ridiculously miserable case...cold, hard proof of what the U.S. Navy did
NOT do...in other words, feel sorry for me. Also, the watch pictured below is my beloved and faithful Seiko 6309-7049 automatic that I purchased new at the NAS Whiting Field NEX in 1987 during U.S. Navy primary pilot training...all because the U.S. Navy did
NOT issue me a watch! I’m requesting that you sound reveille 5 minutes earlier than normal tomorrow [as well as on subsequent days] so that you can take the time to feel sorry for me
more.
😁
LATE ENTRY ADDENDUM
