I simply studied the teachings of bubawatch, ambros and other friends, UG experts, from the O & P Forum

I usually look for the serif on the 'A' of compax. that's usually a dead give away of a original dial. After a while you just know by your gut what is factory original, service, or redial.

This dial looks NOS, great redial ? Let's hear what the experts think ? If it is a redial, it is one of the best I have ever seen ! With the popularity of UG and the increasing value, people with ulterior motives will keep creating these anomalies like this to try to deceive ? I woud like to call it original, but I have some doubt as well now ! It would look amazing on a steel Tri-compax !

Very heavy "ug" font and the "trip-compax" is light on.

Throwing mine into the mix - heavy ‘patina’ on the dial... 🤔

Ref. 22536 ?
Correct - the case is in the opposite condition to the dial, however, so I wish this one could tell us it’s story ...

It looks great on though !
