Great idea .... then "we" can debate for days whether each example is correct for The period! ::stirthepot::😗

(I'll never get any work done then) 🍿

It would be a fantastic reference though.....📖

But might induce some anxiety 😬

We could also have the "hall of the infamous" ... 😁

Diabolik is spot on, it is quite an obvious redial with a long list of clear issues. Unfortunate that these keep popping up

The thread was a discussion of the service dial without the hyphen. Very useful reference thread. Now it appears to have morphed into a discussion of redials? 😵‍💫

In italia, i 6 ad i 9 dritti o con la punta sono conosciuti da molto tempo su quadranti Tri-compax originali e non sono considerati tipici dei quadranti ristampati.
In Italy, 6 and 9 with the tip ("straight 6s and 9s") are known for a long time on the original Tri-compax dials and are not considered typical of reprinted dials.

Grazie A.
...
...the service dials didn't have the dash between "tri" and "compax" and straight 6s and 9s.
..
But straight 6s and 9s per se are not indication of a reprinted or service dial but indeed existed totally original dials from the 40s with straight 6s and 9s and the dash between Tri and Compax, right?).

I have shown some examples of original dials with 6 and 9 pointed ( "straight 6s and 9s)
