Turn around time for service- Brisbane

After a fairly early “return without service” notification which had me a little stumped, I have happily just received back my Trilogy Speedmaster.

It was a tidy watch pre service but I had observed some condensate form under the crystal after spending a good few hours in a fridge, sub 6c (and for a bit of time under -25c) when returning back to a tropical 30c.

It was very dry in all of those environments in the fact that it was not immersed under water and the refrigerated, force fed air usually has a drying effect.

I couldn’t replicate the condensate forming in normal ambient room temperature to fridge and back but figured after six years some of the oils would be getting dry anyway, a service was due regardless.

The watch arrived back as new, so a little tidy up obviously to me was applied, the case and bracelet would have been as in 2017.

Yea that’s a pretty quick turnaround especially for Australia, the last few I’ve serviced through the Brisbane Omega boutique were quite a bit longer but they were a while back now.

I was expecting a January return so was surprised to see it back so soon.

I was quoted six months plus not that long ago, so that’s a good result.
