Looks great! 👍

Really drives home just how much of a monstrosity the in house BB is.

Thank you,
yes BB IN-HOUSE is a bulky watch indeed, and the same dimension as BB-GMT, that is why I am not interested with the BB-GMT

Hope they will release BB-GMT 58 with 39/11.9/47 proportion next year!

I hope this is the beginning of a new trend, I really do not like the modern oversized for no reason/bulky/thick cases.

Rolex passed the torch to themselves with Tudor. These new models are very solid and great quality for the price.

Now put the Pelagos on a diet!!

Just picked it up. First one to leave Torneau in SF. It’s basically perfect. Don’t see this coming off the wrist for a while.... at least a few days 😀

I’ll share more thoughts/first impressions over the weekend.

wonderful pictures. curious if this came from a US AD ?

surprised we haven't seen them for sale yet on rolex forums or OF asking for a premium

This one came from Torneau in San Francisco. When I picked it up it sounded like they had 3 delivered for pre-orders.

Arrived 2 days ago in Texas, a birthday present from the missus

Perfect proportion for my wrist.
I owned ETA BBN and sold it since it was too big/bulky.
When they released IN-HOUSE BBN with 2mm thicker case, it was a clear NO for me.

But this BB58 is just perfect 😎 👍

PS: Tudor BB Dimension Comparison

Tudor BB 58
Diameter: 39 mm
Lug to Lug: 47 mm
Thickness: 11.9 mm
Lug Width: 20 mm

Tudor BB ETA
Diameter: 41 mm
Lug to Lug: 50 mm
Thickness: 12.8 mm
Lug Width: 22 mm

Tudor BB In House
Diameter: 41 mm
Lug to Lug: 50 mm
Thickness: 14.8 mm
Lug Width: 22 mm

Thanks so much for the comparison. This is incredibly important to me, especially lug to lug.

Might be because those two forum’s members are better educated/informed on future availability.

Which is probably why one of our very own has posted his FS only elsewhere at a +$2250 premium and told his large audience that the 'wait-list is rumored to be 2 years'! 😲 ...

Then again, I suppose it would depend entirely on which wait list he(she) is referring to...🙄

Meanwhile they're starting to show up in real numbers on WatchRecon for about/ slightly under MSRP... looks like some have a ~$400 premium, but most are around $3900. The.... optimism.... of some of these people really is amusing sometimes

Reminds me of asking prices for the Black Bay Black (79220N) a few months ago.

"ULTRA RARE COLLECTOR'S PIECE - $5000"

Meanwhile there are over a dozen of them on WatchRecon at any given time... and they also seem to be selling at or below MSRP now that the BB58 exists.

Does the Tudor Pelogos fall into this conversation. Little thinner than the GMT, which I ordered and hope to get at the price I reserved it at. Bought a Pelagos for $3k with box and papers full set

I've seen one or two people trying to jack up prices for the ETA Black, but most prices have been more or less in line with the ETA Blue (which are rising a bit). I know a lot of people think the ETA Black will be a collector watch in the future because of its short production period, but I agree that the 58 probably puts a big dent in that from a size perspective

That is probably true, 58 will devalue the previous Black Bay

Wow. Not cool. Big ol’ line between enterprising and greed.

I’ve already posted this in a previous thread, but I got my BB58 a few weeks ago and to my dismay, the bezel came to me misaligned enough to bother me. I’ve already informed my AD so they’re aware of the issue. Slightly upset about it, but I suppose for now I’ll wear it until I’m ready to warranty it out to be fixed.

I also included a photo of it on an olive NATO, in case anyone was wondering how it looks.

Looks great on the nato. Rather than a warranty fix, I’m sure a watchmaker pop the bezel insert out and realign being a fairly common process with the aluminium bezel watches.

I suspect a technician in a RSC could have that rectified in ten minutes for you if one was close enough for you to get to.
