Thank you,
yes BB IN-HOUSE is a bulky watch indeed, and the same dimension as BB-GMT, that is why I am not interested with the BB-GMT

Hope they will release BB-GMT 58 with 39/11.9/47 proportion next year!

i was in a watch shop today and compared my new 58 to the black bay. . .i wear vintage watches so am biased to smaller size but honestly the regular black bay is just unwearable size combined with the huge depth. there's a market for it but i find it unwearable. gmt same.

i am really hoping tudor goes with a blue dial in the same profile this year. . .

That 58....if it only had the rose on the dial rather than the shield. One of the reasons I stuck to the old black bay, even if some say the ETA movement is not desirable.

Size wise though, the 58 is great and I like the gold on the bezel.

I've had my BB58 for well over a month now and it has turned out to be the prefect everyday watch for me. It's so comfortable on the wrist that half the time I don't realise its there. I don't think I'm ever going to be able to sell it haha.

Tudor have absolutely nailed it with this one.

I’ve already posted this in a previous thread, but I got my BB58 a few weeks ago and to my dismay, the bezel came to me misaligned enough to bother me. I’ve already informed my AD so they’re aware of the issue. Slightly upset about it, but I suppose for now I’ll wear it until I’m ready to warranty it out to be fixed.

I also included a photo of it on an olive NATO, in case anyone was wondering how it looks.

Interestingly, I tried one on today (it was sat in the window of a London AD). It was on nato, so would not have bought anyway as am waiting for the bracelet model, but the bezel on that was misaligned also. While yours is to the right, the red triangle was slightly to the left.

No biggie, but with the gmt date issue (which I have just had fixed) you wonder what the qc process is like.

Lovely btw. The size is perfect and will definitely be on my wrist at some point soon.

Up to now I've only owned vintage watches, but I'm planning on buying a modern diver shortly. The front runners at the minute are Submariner 114060, a minter 14060m, a Seamaster 2254.50, Seamaster 300 Master Coaxial or a Tudor Black Bay.

As a result I called into the local AD to try on a Black Bay. Coincidentally, as well as the standard in-house BB, they also had dummy versions of the 58 and GMT available to view. For some reason I neglected to take a picture of the GMT but here is the BB Black (top) and 58 (bottom).

I have to say the standard BB is very thick, especially if you're used to vintage. However, it somehow manages to still sit nicely on the wrist and doesn't 'wear thick'. The 58 however is stunning. It lacks the anodised crown tube and the bezel markings are ' gilt' rather than white. I have a reasonably thick wrist but even on me, the slimmer/smaller case still looks amazing. The off white lume is also not as visibly yellow as that on the Seamaster 300 Master Coax. I can see the 58 being a winner for plenty who want a modern watch with vintage proportions.

I’m still waiting for the Pepsi GMT but in the meantime this works for me . All the range are great value and great looking watches. If you haven’t chosen one yet take a look at the B.B. S&G on leather strap it fab. Enjoy what ever you choose

Love the BB58, as everyone has mentioned it is a wonderful size, perfectly blending vintage styling with modern conveniences.

Just curious, anyone else with small wrists have an issue with the clasp? I feel like the folding part of the clasp that touches your arm is unnecessarily long. Also, because the way the clasp is designed, the first link out of the clasp on the 6 o'clock size cannot hang directly down. Ultimately, while the lug to lug of the case are perfect, if there was a end to end measure of the clasp, it would probably wear like a 50mm lug to lug case. Not sure if this makes sense, I'll try to take a picture to show the issue.

I just hope I get the Black Bay Pepsi GMT sometime in the next 6 months that I have on order
When I see a BB Pepsi GMT or Rolex Pepsi/Coke on the WRUW thread I get kinda jealous

Hopefully you can see what I’m talking about with the width of the claps and the poor design of the first link off the clasp.

You’re right, and I think most Rolex/Tudor bracelets have this issue. I had the same problem on my 114060 and it bugged the hell out of me. In fact it was a big reason why I sold it. Why do they make the clasp essentially as wide as the watch?

i have modest wrists and have worn the BB58 pretty much continuously since getting it a week ago. clasp doesn't bother me (but i can see you are right design isn't great). i believe rolex bracelets are the same.

I’m with you on this. My wrists are quite slim and also fairly round. This seems to show the lack of articulation of the links to clasp off to an even greater extent. I’m also compromising on bracelet adjustment (bit too tight but with an extra link too loose). It’s 1x micro adjustment off for me. Shame Tudor haven’t made half links. My old Steinhart had 2x half links & 4x micro adjustments on the clasp for the perfect fit.

The 58 is a beauty. I seriously thinking of purchasing one. My only reason for holding out, is the slim chance of a bronze variant being introduced. I would be ecstatic. Been looking for the right bronze watch.

Just picked up mine today, midwest US. Ironically I was #1 on a list for several months and was told by AD they were hoping a few weeks out; this was my backup list, was #4 or 5. The AD also has a GMT with leather strap sitting in the case.
Just feels and looks the perfect size; lume is great; extremely happy and well worth the wait.
