another example found its way to me. This one was only 5 production pieces (based on the serial number) away from the first one! 2331223 vs. 2331228. I also noticed the beauty of the blued hands on this example. Now I've finally taken her home to join the UG stable.

Thanks X3no and LouS. By the way, I just found another example on eBay and it appears that the hands are different from the ones I came across. Lume on the hands. Here is the link. Any thoughts?

It's a trap! That one was Hodinkee'd, so you're looking at a huge increase in cost...

Correct both with and without lume. The key is it should be consistent with the dial - lume on both or no lume on both.

Ah.. Now that explains why it went straight from 4k to over 9k in a matter of 4 hours a few days ago...
