Damn I’m getting better. I offered this guy 800 and he accepted. I said great and asked him to send me several pictures including the movement. I even told him I’d give him more if it checked out. I can’t really buy it now but I just wanted to call his bluff as I was 90% sure it was fake. I told him we can meet at a jeweler and when we check it out we can make the deal. He went silent.

This is the Cellini I’ve been going on and on in this thread which is sometimes talking to myself. It is a midsize not sure of the mm off hand but I can wear a 40-42mm and look fine. Although this is midsize I always thought it wore a bit bigger. I wanted to put a picture and see anyone thinks the size is off. I decided to wear it today for the first time in quite a while as I’m wearing a Grateful Dead T-shirt and going to Walmart to by cat food and it’s always important to have a nice watch with the Grateful Dead and Walmart.

I just ran into a snag. I really thought the Rolex I posted early was fake. The guy just got back to me and agreed to all my conditions. Several pictures including movement and meeting at an AD to to authenticate. I was so sure it was fake I offered him more money to call his bluff about pics and AD. He has box and papers as well. Who the hell is going to sell a real Rolex for 1,000 and then accept an offer for 800. I still have my doubts. I did go through this with a speedy someone was selling at an unrealistic price. This is a bit crazy. It’s the Rolex a few posts back with the brown dial but the style of the case didn’t look right to me so I called BS. I’ll see, if he does send pics I’ll post them here as this whole thing sounds highly unlikely.
