Very strong finish for a steel Constellation...

Unless that's actually a white gold case or there is something special about this particular watch, I can't figure it. That would be a crazy price for a steel case, but consider that The Omega Enthusiast asks very high prices for his watches (and they are authentic, serviced and of very good quality) and he sells a lot of them.

It is a conspiracy for me not to find a SS case dirt cheap. (and full of dirt.)

Not a big fan of the color gold. So why then do I have so many gold capped examples?

I'd say shill bidding but 4000 is a reach for shill bidding too

Maybe some poor soul left a 4000 offline bid and the auction house maxed it
