Seems to be a lot of these floating around brand new/NOS. Looks like they haven't been so popular. IMO Omega shouldn't have taken so many of their iconic designs and released them in one lot. Devalues it too much. Maybe one unique would have been better - e.g. rising sun.

I think they’re increasing in popularity. They made 2,020 of each variation so it wasn’t a super limited edition. The panda version is already going for close to $10,000 when it retails for 6k and change.

When they were first released (around 2.5 years ago) I think they were all selling for around $10k on Chrono24. Now the Rising Sun & Gemini IV have fallen to a little over retail, while the panda has stayed at $10k. Probably because the original version is out of reach.

Received a red leather band from Corrigia today. Makes for a nice change and gives the watch a more casual look compared to the bracelet.

It's the Rolsub 12. Nice thing is that you can customize it to your liking.

Omega warranty cards don't have the buyer name on them. The watch I received yesterday was brand new with stickers and the warranty card was dated January 18th from the Ginza Tenshodo AD.
So basically Jewellix buys the new stock from the AD and resells them internationally via Chrono24. Win-win situation for all involved parties.
I received my blue Speedmaster Tokyo 2020 on Friday. And the waranty card was filled out also by Ginza Tenshodo but with a date a couple days before my chrono24 purchase.

In my opinion the rising sun is near to being sold out. The last limited numbers I saw where on 1800+ and as well there are not many cheap ones left on Chrono from japanese sellers.
The Panda Tokyo 2020 version is already at resel prices of 10-11k. Will be really interesting too see where the rising sun will go as soon as it is sold out.
it is indeed a really iconic and special piece.

for the other three (green/gold, black/gold and blue), it seems that there are still plenty available.

It seems every true panda Speedmaster Omega puts out (Mitsukoshi, Apollo 11 35th, now Tokyo 2020) is well received by the market. There are about 5,800 factory pandas in the three editions, plus who knows how many other dial conversions, and they all seem to do ok in the market place.

My "Rising Sun". Bought it at the end of last year from a Tokyo grey market dealer.

Had an extremely busy time since (a lot of covid related complications at work). Finally some pics i managed to take (please excuse dust):

Are the hands and applied logo really golden in color? Or is that just the light? I've seen other photos that look like that, as well as some that are silver/stainless color (or lack thereof)

It's a reflection - I can get the same copper color on mine depending on where I put my fingers on the phone when taking pictures. Would be kind of cool though to have copper or pink gold hands

Just thought of updating on JEWELLIX. I did purchase rising sun from them recently. I can confirm that they are legit and very prompt in shipping and communication.

I've also ordered through them, stuck at the post office but can confirm so far! Very fast shipping, unfortunately held up because of duties. Pleasant experience with them.

yeah. Mine was stuck at customs for 2 days . I did follow up with UPS few times and had it released. Once released, the item arrived next day. Shipping to delivery - 7 days!
