Hi,

I would like to source the Speedmaster Tokyo 2020 Olympics dial. I wish to put it on a new Speedmaster.

Anyone know where I could find this dial?

Many thanks.

Try the usual places like Chrono24 (there are 26 for sale right now), eBay or keep an eye out for ads here on OF. They are available.

Hi Evitzee, thank you for the response. I looked on ebay and chrono24 but could not find only the "dial". I found the whole watch but not the dial. Is there a special way to search for the specific dial? Regards, Mike

Odds of finding a loose 2020 dial are slim to none. It’s an exchange-only part and was not available before the exchange-only policy was put in place AFAIK. I’ve never seen one sold loose, and I hunt for dials.

(Now is when a better detective than I shows me a couple I’ve missed over the past couple of years lol)

Sorry, I misunderstood that you were only looking for the dial. In that case, as mentioned above, fuggedaboutit, the 2020 Tokyo dials were never made available to purchase separately, they were only on an exchange basis (a damaged dial for a replacement dial). You will find Mitsukoshi and Apollo 11 35th dials available occasionally which look almost the same, but they aren't cheap anymore.

What you are aiming for is this look, an Apollo 35th dial on a 2019 Cal 1861 Speedmaster, with a 3861 bracelet.

Thanks for posting the photo. Beautiful.
On a Speedy Tuesday can a bracelet from a new 321 be fitted?

That is really sharp looking! Picked the Gemini 4 40th Anniversary edition which is the same dial used on the Tokyo blue dial version.

A 321 watch is a 19mm lug width, the normal Speedmaster is 20mm so, no dice.
