Was able to pick mine up from Jewellix as well. No issues at all. Not really qualified to comment on authenticity. Thanks for the help from a fellow OF member - sgtiger!

Are you in the US? If so, mind if I ask what the import duties were?

Yes, In the US. It was around $150. Can’t remember exact price.

A lot more reasonable than I had imagined.

That goes with what Chrono24 told me. They said 1-4%.

Pardon the noob question, but how do you get an English version of this Rakuten page? I can't even get it with Google Translate.

Weird, it worked for me when opening the page through Chrome?

If you open the page via google chrome it should give you the option to translate:

Ah. The latest version of Safari has a translate function, but I'm on an older version

Download a translation browser extension. That way you can trigger the translation if not done automatically

The DeepL translation is also easy to understand.
Unfortunately, however, the entire web page cannot be translated.

Welcome to the forum!
Happy to say that according to UPS I shall be receiving my Rising Sun tomorrow. I ordered it from you last Wednesday so that means 5 days only from Japan to Switzerland including the weekend! Thanks Jewellix!

It comes with all the correct paperwork, filled out omega guarantee card original packaging.

if these watches are being purchased new, I still do not fully understand the posture of these watches coming from a company that is not an AD.

when you say the paperwork is filled out, do you mean with your name and purchase date? Or do you instead mean with the prior owner’s information?

Not fully grasping if we’re talking about stranded new stock that ADs are giving to third party’s like Jewellix with blank papers and selling at MSRP with warranty, or instead simply selling used watches.

Omega warranty cards don't have the buyer name on them. The watch I received yesterday was brand new with stickers and the warranty card was dated January 18th from the Ginza Tenshodo AD.
So basically Jewellix buys the new stock from the AD and resells them internationally via Chrono24. Win-win situation for all involved parties.

Is Jan 18 (Tokyo time) after your date of purchase? That is, did you buy a watch Jewellix already had on hand, or did you purchase a watch Jewellix thereafter sourced?

Win-win I suppose; but I’m less sure it’s what Omega expects from its ADs (especially with a in-country only release).

On the other hand, if these LE quantity watches are still sitting in ADs after 2.5yrs, perhaps either the ADs are fed up or Omega has given them the wink-wink nudge-nudge permission.

I don't see where you're going with these questions. The AD sold the watch in-country and stamped the warranty card so no issue there. What Jewellix decides to do with it afterwards is their business.
There's even been people that received theirs from other sources with blank warranty cards that had them stamped in their respective country without problems.
Fortunately this isn't Rolex as Omega has a customer first policy.

I bought mine on 9th Dec 2020 and the sale date on the warranty card states 12th Dec 2020.
