·I owned a G-Shock when I was 9. I remember saving up for it and how giddy I was when my dad drove me to buy it. At that age $50 seemed like a lot of money.

·I got a G-shock when I purchased a Ford Focus back in 2000. I gave it to my teenage niece who thought it was the bomb. Personally, I don't really get them. I understand the functionality and the potential to take abuse; I just don't find them very attractive. I'm certainly a minority though.
