Hey guys, I'm less familiar with Zenith and was hoping folks might weigh in on this one. The case looks to be fairly sharp, with brushing in tact, and the dial and hands appear to be in good shape. I'm not sure if the crown is original. The lume on the hands is not a great match to the pips, but that's pretty nit-picky and not a deal-breaker for me. Finally, the ref number on the caseback appears to have been polished off or obscured for some reason. Is this a reasonably solid movement? The asking price is $560. Watch is said to have been serviced.
These are rock solid movements from a time when Zenith were at the top of their game - just before the new ownership decided the future was in quartz watches. Not super valuable, but the quality is excellent and the movements were made in-house.
The hands look fine but the crown is a replacement. You would want documented proof of a full service, as the price is a little steep.
They are fine, and the dial is original. For some reason, Zenith left 12, 3, 6 and 9 without lume on most dials back then, in case you were wondering.
