Want To Trade - My Vintage Zenith Surf Rare Zenith Surf reference # 02.0190.380 - circa mid-1970s. Red and blue insert on this reference is ultra-rare. Watch is in overall excellent condition. Case: 39.5mm w/o crown x 11.5mm high all stainless steel in excellent vintage condition. Screw on case back. Sharp case bevels/edges look to have never been polished. Shown next to Daytona for comparison (Daytona not incl in trade . Dial: Beautiful silver grey color with applied Zenith logo and written Zenith script. Black minute chapter ring appears to float above the grey dial. Applied tritium hour markers intact and in excellent condition. Aluminum blue & red insert turns clockwise a bit stiffly. The dial and insert are in excellent condition. Acrylic crystal in good condition, has a scratch at 3:00. Movement: Zenith signed 2572 pc is a highly regarded Zenith inhouse movement. The 17 jewel, 28,800 bph movement had an overhaul in Jan 2024 that included disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, lubrication and regulation. Winds smooth and keeps good time for a watch of this age. The case was ultrasonically cleaned, and a new gasket was fitted (per prior owner and documented on bill of sale). The crown is not original and was installed during service. Bracelet: Original Zenith signed integrated stainless-steel bracelet. The flat link bracelet is very comfortable with great wrist presence. Zenith signed clasp has micro-adjustments.
