Hey all,

Been a long time lurker and first time posting!

Just wanted everyone's thoughts on this Tudor Submariner which I am considering to get.

I've been reading some information on the 79090 reference but there is one thing about the dial that perplexes me.

This is the watch listed imaged below:

I think overall, the watch is in pretty good condition and it is dated to be from around 1995.

Main thing I want to know is:
1. Is the dial a replacement dial? I contacted the dealer and he said it is all original but online searches, I can see that other 79090 dated from 1995 have the T-Swiss Made-T dial as opposed to this dial here. Some have the same dial as this example and online research hasn't been too fruitful.
2. The bezel insert looks slightly different to the other online reference material I've been seeing, is the bezel correct for this period of 79090?
3. Is this a redundant purchase if I already own a 16600 from 1995 as well?

All round the dealer is asking for about 6500 USD for the full set, which seems like a good price for now....😗😗 but there's always a catch with these things.

Complimentary Photo of my 16600 😉

AFAIK a T Swiss Made T would be a service dial, but I don’t know this reference well. It appears to be in cold condition!

Ah I see thank you! I did some digging around and it seems that the dial T-SWISS-T is from an earlier period, looks like we have a match.

Pardon my question but what does cold condition means? Is that good?

That was a bad autocorrect, should be good condition!
