Well OMEGA300 is the promo code good for 300usd off all omega watches on CC good until Sept 19. I’m on their mailing list just received that today or a little prior. You do pay top dollar at these sites but you know your getting the real deal, warranty included and hopefully a good service. Usually the period you have to inspect and return the watch is quite generous as well. I know a few people who used CC and had no complaints but I haven’t used them personally.

I've recently discovered the existence of the 36mm Aqua Terra, and I must say I have an itch for one now. Came across this one on Crown & Caliber recently. Thoughts on it? I've always heard mixed reviews about C&C. Here's the listing :

Authentic Used OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M Midsize Chronometer 2504.50.00 Watch (10-10-OME-F3X0DM) (crownandcaliber.com)
I have the 41mm and if you can’t pull that off don’t consider a speedmaster. 36 was and still is a great size but feels a bit tiddly imo 41mm has a better presence and if we didn’t want presence then we’d all be buying DW

Well, everyone’s entitled to an opinion, but I can’t say I see the wisdom in this. Guess I look at it differently: it’s like shoe size, in a way—not a one-size-fits-all thing. If you’ve got monstrous wrists or really want people to notice your watch, maybe one of those mega Aqua Terra XLs (is that what they’re called?) or a Panerai will suit you. But I suspect that for most people the sweet spot is right around 38mm in terms of fitting the wrist and sitting comfortably. Right now the fashion seems to be on north side of that figure: 40-42. I’ve got just enough room to pull off 42 without looking ridiculous, and in some ways the lug to lug length matters more anyway. But if I push to 43 or 44 it starts to get clownish. To my eyes, it makes more sense (aesthetically) to head a wee bit in the other direction. I started out this hobby with WWII A-11s which are around 34mm, I think. Those did feel a bit dainty but never unmasculine, especially given their military vibe and provenance. But a vintage Seamaster at 35 or an AT or OP or Explorer at 36—that’s probably the optimal size for most men for an all-dial (no tool-bezel) watch. As for Speedmasters, if you factor in the FOIS and some of the reduced models, you’ve got plenty of sub-40mm options to choose from.

I had it in blue, long time ago. Visually the nicest, most timeless AT ever, mainly in black. Enjoy.

The older gen. 36mm Railmaster is quite sought after. Personally, I actually prefer it to a Rolex Explorer. 36mm is a classic size, not asking for attention.
I had no idea there was a 36mm Railmaster! Something to add to my list.

I have one and I'll never part with it 😁
