Thoughts on the authenticity of this Cartier Tank

Hello esteemed forum members,
I’m a novice re Cartier Tanks but have hankered after one for years. Having bought two FrankenCartiers (and managed to return them) after purchasing from private sellers I thought it best to ask for the forum’s assistance in sharing thoughts re the Tank in the attached imagery. The seller has not provided imagery of the movement. Any advice or thoughts would be hugely appreciated.

It looks legit to me, by which I mean pretty low rent. Must de Cartier stuff like this is not great quality, but that one has no red flags I can see. Any wear on the case plate, by which I mean break through of the gold plate into the silver below is a big red flag as it can not be easily improved. I hope it is cheap, this is not a particularly desirable model. It does look a good one in those pics though.

A separate Must example I’ve spotted is the one pictured below. This one has imagery of the movement. While I appreciate now that these are of a lower quality, does this appear authentic? Similarly priced and manual wind.

Both look legit. Cartier during this era didn't make a particularly special product and used off the shelf stuff but they did use ETA movements in their top execution or similar. The first one you show looks newer than the second. I've never owned a Must de Carter piece but I have handled them several times.

My opinion, that’s way too much to pay for a Must de Cartier tank. If you double that, you could get a real Cartier Tank that is a hundred times better.

Any plated material like here is bound to peel off or wear off. Which is why watch enthusiasts prefer a solid metal. Either stainless steel, or solid gold (which will be considerably more expensive for a Cartier).
