Hey guys! I’ve been looking at those straight lugs SM lately and was wondering what to think of this one. Serial would date it to 66. I know macros would be needed to assess the bezel’s originality but maybe there are obvious tells I’m missing...

No one?
The seconds hand for example seems very suspicious to me, I’ve never seen a straight one like this but the sellers maintains it might be original.
Same for the bezel, 100% original according to him...It doesn’t react to Uv light by the way, while the dial and hands do!

I think the bezel /insert may be original but not as good as @CajunTiger or @kox or some others at identifying it through photos. Overall the watch looks phenomenal to me.

The bezel looks original but as told before you need a loupe to be sure.
The second hand was replaced. You can search for the original one here with a WTB post or on Ebay.
I can't tell from the pictures if the dial has been relumed.
Is the extract available?

No extract was available unfortunately. Being unsure, I had to let it pass. It was an auction that stayed without bids at 5.8k€ until a couple minutes before the end...It ended at 8k+€ which seems to me like a very good price if everything was correct but the many unknowns made it a huge gamble in the process...😵‍💫
