    I am not in the market for a vintage Speedmaster at the moment, but I saw this pop up on Ebay and thought I would throw it out to the group for dissection/discussion. I have my own thoughts on the watch, but I will hold them in reserve for the time being. Hoping this can be a discussion for new people such as myself, since the experts are...well...experts.

    Well, there's one part that's pre-moon. :rolleyes:

    I can't believe that Matthew Bain doesn't know better, so someone else must be doing his eBay listings. A major omission was also identified on the Rolexforums about a different one of his eBay listings.

    Saw today that this one was taken down. I think @Dan S theory about someone else doing his eBay listings is probably correct. Someone who knew what they were doing realized the problem and took it down. But yes, it appears to be a 145.022-74 with a pre-moon caseback...
