Hi Found this 14k 342 chronometer on the bay and need more thoughts from OF expert. Hand set looks later replacement, non signed crown. My most concern is minute marker. Thanks for your comments.

 

I believe that might be an old dial refinish... but it might not. They weren't as precise then as today and it is possible it is original.

But I personally find that dial unattractive, and you may be right about the hands. Unless it was very inexpensive, I wouldn't bother.

 

Agreed. Patina, but not in a good way.
