Ha ha my coworkers tried to get me with the “you have been terminated” thing again but they hazed me with that my second week on the job I told them they gotta get a little more creative.

It's a thing here. There's an excellent local organic dairy that delivers. You can see their boxes on porches.

The demise of glass milk bottles has stopped this loutish behaviour of stealing the cream from the top.




To those on the west of the mid-Atlantic ridge this Bluetit's call is very similar to the Black-capped Chickadee, so I call 'em Chickadees to the confusion of many.


Not only do I remember milk in glass bottles I remember in school being issued with a daily 1/3rd pint of milk because g'ment of the time was worried about the condition of rickets in children.
