Okay, so every Summer I pay my life insurance bill. On the invoice, it says, please make check payable to “The Washington National Life Insurance Company.” Really? Has anyone in the company, or any subscriber EVER managed to get that on the Pay To The Order line?

Of course, there's always printing really really tiny. LOL. I'd probably just write "WashNatLifeInsCo" or WNLIC.

I'm reminded of a comic panel from years ago...

eBay searches refinement seems to have removed “year of manufacture” so all of my saved searches are returning horrible modern watches when all I want are 1930-70s... it’s driving my insane as it’s wasting all my time. What’s going on? 🙁

Why not just use Snipping Tool? Crop and hit ctrl C and you're done.

All these other ways are fine , But why not just use Print Screen 😉

No, they had one button and 🤬 it up.

Uhhh, it actually did print the screen. MSDOS.

It still does, only it places the screen buffer on the clipboard.

Press just the "Print Scrn" button. Open paint (I'm assuming you are on a windows box). Press Ctrl-V (paste). Voila, your screen appears in paint.

^^The memory of the sound of this guy's voice is soothing. I'll have to remember that next time I'm pissed off.

No one button, print screen. I know what to do but print screen doesn’t print the screen. If I push F a F comes up, so the F button works how hard would it be to get the print screen to 🤬en work.

Trying to find the end of a roll of packing tape, after some inconsiderate b*stard forgot to put a little tab on the end of the roll after they used it.

I don’t agree. A greater wrong doesn’t make lesser wrongs right, nor do they justify them. You either assess and believe in what’s right, or you don’t.
There is always those who look to take advantage of an opportunity. When we ignore and repeat the 'greater wrong' over and over again we create the opportunity for them to do so.

No right-minded person would argue that the many issues surrounding George Floyd’s death need careful, thoughtful, and on-going examination, though why you chose to hijack this thread, which was obviously about issues infinity more frivolous in nature than someone’s brutal death (crammed check-writing, annoying commentators and pesky tape dispensers) is beyond me and further, could be viewed as insensitive.

But, the point is, you replied to the lesser, though still very serious transgressions that @alam brought up, by noting that they don’t “make it on your list,” the implication being that they are not important. Well, they are, and because greater problems continue is no justification for those actions to be sanctioned in any way, nor the people that perpetuate them given a pass. And, I disagree with your contention that larger societal problems “create the opportunity” for people to act poorly. There are plenty of non-violent, law-abiding protestors, but they don’t get the same press.

Damn. You're in my head; only you organized it and presented it in a fashion far greater than I could have. Well done.

Watch sellers who are obviously experienced collectors trying to palm flawed pieces on me saying: "I honestly don't know" when I point out an obvious flaw that wasn't mentioned anywhere.
Having it happen in a face to face deal is only more annoying.

Just Makita brand one? What the story behind that?
When your neighbours have builders, roofers etc round when the weather’s just turned good and you want some quality time in your garden during lockdown but you have to listen to their shit music blaring at you instead FOR THE WHOLE DAY

It's a very good day when you can sit and watch people installing a roofing system. The only thing that makes it better is when you get paid to do it 😀

I did manage to get a time-lapse video of the crew removing the scaffold, which was moderately interesting.
