Okay, so every Summer I pay my life insurance bill. On the invoice, it says, please make check payable to “The Washington National Life Insurance Company.” Really? Has anyone in the company, or any subscriber EVER managed to get that on the Pay To The Order line? Even with abbreviations?

What just drives you nuts about things you encounter that shows a complete lack of attention to the most obvious details?

You are so right about Larry David! Genius! What aggravates me is the F1 commentators who constantly talk and don’t let us listen to the engines. Even if the engines sound like crap now...

I pay my local taxes each month to an account that has a name 36 characters long. The online payment has a maximum of 19 characters for an account name. 17 bytes difference, yeah storage is so tight still 😵‍💫

Print screen doesn’t print screen. AND No I’m not doing anything else or pushing another button Like f5 or esc print screen has never printed screen so why keep it.

Every other button does what it says. How hard would it be to get some IT guru to make print screen actually print the screen when you hit print screen.

'Delete' key being placed right next to the 'Insert' key on a keyboard. Not such a problem these days since buying a Mac, but there were times on a PC when I felt like I needed one of these safety covers for the 'Insert' key. Or... I could just learn to type properly. 😵‍💫

One non-brit here, a bit older than your daughter and I suspect there are about 190+ checks remaining in the last box of 200 I purchased ~8-10 years ago. 😀

I finally got through the last box that said “19__” about 5 years ago...I ordered another box....99 bottles of beer on the wall, 99 bottles of beer....

How quickly ignorance - as opposed to enlightenment, (remember the educative promise of the Information Super Highway in the early days of the internet), is spread today by all the many channels of communication, broadcasting and other media. A couple of years ago some twerp uttered the solecism, 'amount of people,' instead of 'number, ' and now nearly everyone uses that form. People : Sheepole. Bah!!!

More a personal shortcoming..no matter how hard I try, for years now..sometimes it works but actually not without great intellectual efforts: I constantly keep confusing Thyme and Rosemary, just can't tell which is which. Typical scene: wife says get me some Rosemary from the Balcony..guess what I bring..

Everything else in the world I can tell apart 😀

Same here. And Instagram, I’m done with social networks. OF is enough 👍
