·It was raining when I went to bed, and it's still raining now. I guess no trail riding for me today, it'll be mud all over.
Edit: finally stopped raining about 12 hours ago. I had no idea it could rain for nearly 48 hours straight!!

··Omega Qualified WatchmakerLots of rain and cooler weather over last weekend, but things have cleared up, and warmed up. Wonderful early autumn morning today, 15 degrees or so, and not a cloud in the sky. Sun this morning was wonderful and the leaves are starting to change...hopefully we have a good show of colour this year.

Today just relaxing...dogs keeping warm by the fire through the day (it was only +4 this morning). Raven likes to hang out in the dog bed...

··The black sheep in the Spee-ee-eee-eedmaster flockIt was a cool, sunny, windy day here in western Massachusetts. I went outside this morning for a few minutes of fresh air and was struck by the contrasting colors and the crisp blue sky. Our foliage is just starting to turn; tonight's predicted frost should help things along.

Always reminds me of Billy Connolly telling a story of wee women trying to get there weans to swim off the beach at Aberdeen and calling them jessies when they complained it was too cold and yet a couple of miles off shore the guys on the rigs were wearing full survival suits.

A very cool view. I was able to stay one night at the Queen Mary Hotel Ship a few years ago. Was quite an experience.
