Not dry in north Texas...the weather sorcerers and witches say 30% rain coming. That means 100%, they just don't know when...and it is 99 degrees F. Heat factor "real feel" is supposedly 104 F. All I know is, I walk into the sunshine, get wet, walk back into the house. I like houses. I like air-conditioning. I like not sweating. I like my clothes not sticking to me due to my own excretions. I like winter. 馃槑
managed to be sick with a really bad flu the other day.... got to lie in bed with a splitting headache, a rolling stomach and no air conditioning while the dial on the front of the house said.......

I had this flu thing starting Tuesday night...lasted thru Fri. Not Pleasant. I had Air Conditioning and thank God for it.
I hope you feel better now. That kinda temp is miserable when healthy...sick or pregnant must be awful!

Not just today! As of July 17, Calgary has had ONE DAY thus far this month, without rain! The most recent report I read said we have had 103.7 mm of rain this month, thus far, which is likely going to amount to about double our average monthly rainfall for the entire MONTH of July! At 4:30 pm today, I parked my car in the only parking space available. 3 inches of Mud, but no large puddles. 3 hours later, my car was in the middle of a POND WITH THE WATER 4" deep! I don't wanna talk about the weather!
