Howdy everyone, I just joined today as I have been lurking for a bit reading up and researching for my purchase.

I have come a long way with my watches. Back in 1986 my parents gave me a swatch that I thought was the coolest thing ever, then in Jr High and highschool I had digital ironman watches. Then in college I was wearing a blue fossil or a green relic. Back in 2005 I dropped what I thought was an enormous sum of money on an Invicta 8902 because I couldn't afford a Rolex Sub. Purchased 3 or 4 other invictas. In 2017 or so I upgraded from them to Squale. I had 5 squales at one point, but down to 2 now.....and today I did something 2005 me could have never imagined, bought 2 Omegas from mdgrwl for a price 2005 me wouldn't have believed. A brand new green Seamaster 300M pro diver and a mint 2021 blue Planet Ocean 43.5. Looking forward to getting them this week. Gonna keep rocking my 50 atmos Super Squale until then.

Well they arrived this morning as expected. Beautiful and heavy compared to what I have worn in the past. Not bad heavy, just noticeable compared to the squale.

I love the green color...man it is hard to capture. Like reviews said it can look black in the right lighting. I love this watch...absolutely love it. Been wearing a sharkband that holds the watch tight against my wrist so debating about if I need to tighten the bracelet....will see. Again love this watch.

Planet ocean is gorgeous and the size doesn't bother me, but I do find myself wishing I had gotten the blue seamaster instead of the Planet Ocean. We shall see what happens. I did freak myself out on setting the date though, I thought it operated same as my other watches, but then the hour hand started moving and I thought I broke something lol. Very pleased with both.

The story of an “accumulator” of watches to a bona fide collector in one single bound! Squales, Invictas, Swatches, and Fossils pale by comparison. Will their be room in your sock drawer for all the watches you will no longer be wearing?

Congrats! Two very nice watches. Now you just need a Speedmaster and a vintage Constellation to round out the collection.

Both beautiful pieces! I have a feeling those other 2 Squales are going to disappear soon when you realize how nice an Aqua Terra would look next to these two...

Currently only these 2 and the 2 Squales so they fit well in my Grandfather's Gerstner Chest drawer.

Update, I couldn't get over the feeling that the PO was too modern and aggressive of a design for me. So I sent it back to exchange for a Blue Seamaster. The size of the PO wasn't an issue, I just like the look and design of the SMP more.

Loving the green one.
