So, I just received the email confirming that my Extract of Archive is on the way and I thought this might interest you mate @khmt2

And to be honest, I've never heard of this reference number so I think it's pretty cool.

"For your convenience, please find attached to this message its digital version, together with its reproduction from Zenith Catalogue from 1970 entailing the model in question."

Thanks @longlifegoods! The reproduction of the model catalogue is the cat's whiskers! ::psy:: Congrats on a rare rare piece and remember, I'm 1st in dibs! 馃榿

How did you go about getting Zenith to provide the archive? Was there a fee?

You're welcome man and noted 馃憤.

It's on their website, here you go : http://www.zenith-watches.com/en_en/extraits-archive

It's CHF 120 for digital file only (in PDF) and CHF 150 for both digital and printed shipped to your door step.

Very nice. Great to have that detailed an extract.

Yes, it was a very convenient process. I just took the required pictures showing case number, movement number, etc and around one month later I got an email containing info above. It's the opposite of requesting Omega extract (from what I've heard) where you need to have your watch photographed by capable AD or boutiques and have them processed it.

Maybe @The Master of Speed can chime into the thread 馃憤

That's an amazing piece. I saw one recently as well, maybe the exact same one. I was a bit reluctant because of the sub register. The print looks kind of awkward. Not like something I had seen from zeniths of that period before. But I'm glad to see now, that is all fine.

Wear it in good health !

Ugh. I was so hoping that I could come on here in a few days with quality pictures of the LeGant and talk about how much I loved it. Instead, I now have a true WTB obsession that will take a while to check off, most likely. Hunting is the best part though!

It looks great! Where the dials manufactured w/o lume plots at 3,6,9? I'd also be interested in the history of Le Gant as I never came across that company before...

Anyway great catch @dodo44 and lovely condition. Enjoy!

Thanks for letting me know. So similar to what A&F and Heuer did.
