It's just a bit annoying and pointless when you're quoting these for sale at almost $9k....when they are for sale at half that.

Exactly. He and another guy have virtually all of their posts exclaiming their amazement at the quick rise in value of the TinTin....and shockingly they just happen to own them. It's comically transparent.

Damn, your very sensitive. Somebody cares since it is upsetting them.

I don't care. You're embarrassing yourself with this relentless pimping of the TinTin. You don't see me pimping the value of the Gemini IV in every thread, do you?

Nice watch. Too many nice watches out there to choose from. Looking at blue dials. The Seamaster 300M has been a possibility

There are some great examples for sale such as the NOS Tin Tin Kringkily is selling here on the forum for $4750 shipped! There are other examples on various sites selling for approx. $5400 - $7000
Well they may not be "investment grade" yet, but Kringkily's asking price has gone up by almost a grand since I bought mine from him late last year.

Not that unusual. My asking price goes up the first of every year too.
Nice watch all the same, don’t know if you can pull it off after you turn 30 though.

I'm getting that new Seamaster 300 diver... its incredible in person, at a very attractive price point. Best blue dial I've seen from Omega in a long time. The black dial is epic as well.

Well shit, guess I need to turn mine over to someone else, as I left 30 in the rearview mirror a couple decades ago. 😟

I’ll take it! (As long as I can lie about my age.)

Fixed that for you.
You're right! I am well over 30 and I am struggling to take it off 😉

I stand corrected.
There’s at least 2 OF members (undoubtedly there are more) over 30 that are fascinated by this Omega reference, who are proudly rocking it, and are willing to pay for the privilege of owning one. Good for you, enjoy!

But by 25%?

I'm double that and I'm lovin' it.

Me too! Have to disagree with him. It gets the most compliments of any watch in my collection. But I'm too old for it. 🙁

It’s a nifty watch (I’ve owned it), but all I see is collectors and watchnuts blowing hot air. Regular watch buyers don’t really care for this one and that’s key to becoming a real classic

To be honest, I don't think I've seen this much hype (and hot air) about a watch for some time. It's almost as though some parties are trying to force it through sheer willpower into being some sort of uber-collectible piece. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love mine and have had some nice comments about it, but I'm not looking at it like the next Newman Daytona or Red Sub, just a great watch to wear and enjoy 🥰

I'm sure the parties pimping the expected future value of their watches will come back and admit they were wrong should their unbiased predictions fail to come to fruition, right? 😉
