Here's my relatively simple 600 but it's that simplicity that I find so elegant. I'm wearing it here with an Omega 'serpentine bracelet’ Ref. 2028

The guy I purchased it off was the original owner and was reluctantly parting with it to 'downsize his life'. When he sold it to me he said it was like 'saying goodbye to an old friend'. I now send him sporadic email updates as to its journeys through the world so the two old friends can still stay in touch.

After a very long day at the hospital waiting for my wife to finish surgery, I was doing my usual time killing scroll through watch listings. I stopped on this watch and set my phone down to help her. When I went to pick my phone up I somehow hit the purchase button and had absolutely no intention of doing so. The listing barely lists any details unfortunately. I’ve tried to look up details and the best I can figure is that this is clearly a redial. Does anyone else have any other information that they can share before I lose my mind on this costly mistake? The good news is that after hours of researching and reading up on Seamaster 600’s, I’m now a huge fan but only for a nice original example.

Unfortunately it is a redial and the case is terrible. Look at the loss of gold plating on the lugs!
I'd really try and cancel this.

I just purchased a variant of this dial (waiting to get it). It's coming with a black croc which I want to replace. Was thinking a bracelet, but I have to say, that med brown calfskin looks incredible on this dial.

What bracelet is that? Looks amazing!
Thanks - it is a no-name model that I got in another watch deal. It will have to stay for a long time because when I moved it to this watch, I took the spring bars with it and forgot that the former watch had drilled lugs (where I often use shoulderless bars). But the 600 has not - so I have to cut he bars to remove the bracelet. And I don’t feel like resorting to that kind of violence when I like the bracelet on this watch.
